I'm trying something a little different and sharing with you all a personal experience from the past weekend celebrating the 2016 Montreal Grandprix. I don't usually cover events or post much about my outfits.... but I thought last weekend was such a blast it was 100% worth sharing.... so this is the #incaseyoumissedit on snapchat post! (but follow my snap so you wont miss anymore! un: samanthaecutler) So... here is my Grand Prix itinerary and what I wore:
Ritz Carlton Montreal Official Mclaren Party
Highlights: Plenty of celebrities (local and abroad!), DJ Yo-C kept us dancing all night, the animations of the Vip Lounge from Ogilvy and Holt Renfrew, the Mclaren suspended above the duck pond.... the baby ducks, and of course the champagne, outstanding food like oysters from Choice Harbour paired with Hot Sauce from Smoke Show Sauce, and signature cocktails from the mixology masters of Brahm Mauer bar service!
WHAT I WORE
Makeup by : Elizabeth D'amico
Spray Tan: Barbarella MTL
Hair: Le StyleBar
Auberge St Gabriel Brunch & Dinner and Jelly Fish
This was a party! Everyone showed up for a Bagatelle style brunch... so champagne, that lead to drinks, more drinks, dancing and more dancing. We had a blast and personally I was pretty impressed by the event. It was my first Auberge Grandprix brunch and I am happy to say I'll for sure be returning next year. I ended the night with dinner at Jellyfish and wine and laughter with great friends!
WHAT I WORE
Cookout at Barroco and Closing Auberge St Gabriel Event
Many restaurants have amazing animations for Grandprix. This means nothing short of expanded outdoor terraces across the city. Regardless of the less than great weather we had, that didnt stop people from eating, drinking and cooking outside. Barraco restaurant on St Paul grilled up amazing steaks and lobsters, served up incredible wine and even provided heaters. Yup - only in MTL do we need heaters in June. It was a great end to Grand Prix. This was followed by one of the two largest the closing parties where I found myself back at Auberge St Gabriel. It was a great night, I didn't stay until the end, but rumor has it they kept the after party going until 7am. Here in Montreal we aim to please on GP so anything is possible!
WHAT I WORE
