On June 21st, international yoga day, Lole hosted Lole White Tours on the Road in more than 50 cities around the world. I had the fortune of attending in Montreal outdoors at Place Ville Marie. In the center of high rise office buildings, the hustle and bustle of the city, and under the perfectly blue skies that shinned about, we did yoga.
Lole White Tour was created to unite people around the world, doing yoga all in white as a symbol of peace. But the event was so much more than just a symbol of peace. It represented unity, coming together as a city, a country and as a world. Our Montreal tour was lead by Julie Marchand and her daughter. Incredible to see a mother and daughter (who is 16 and the youngest certified yogi in Canada) teaching together, in both french and english. It was the prefect representation of togetherness that the city of Montreal represents.
I am always extremely impressed by companies who take their time and resources to help give and grow their customers. Brand loyalty is no longer about having a great product. Your loyalty comes from a feeling that that brand can grow with you, give something to you and in return you can give something to the world. This is what it is about!
What really stood out was how much I loved the experience of doing yoga and tuning into my personal peace. I usually prefer high intensity, high cardio type of work outs to calm experiences. But this event may have converted me!
