What do you want from this year? A healthier lifestyle, to open up to love, to mend a broken friendship, to find joy in your work again? There are so many thing we wish for in our lives and January 1st is always one of our favourite days to put those into action.
At the end of the day, each day is a good opportunity to make the right choice and be smart about your future. All your decisions add up into who you are, so we need to think like this. New day, new opportunity for greatness. But if a new year is your motivation, so be it. It can be an awesome kick in the ass for many. So here are a few things I'm thinking of this week....
I'm making some big changes this year, but none of them are things I thought of yesterday let's be honest. They are pretty much all projects I started January 1st 2016 and the one before and the one before that. It's a lifestyle shift and each new year is a new reset and refocus not a new life.
I LOVE New Years. But I'm a Virgo. I also love Mondays. The first of the month. Blank pieces of paper. New agendas. Lists. Lists with check marks. Making the lists. It goes on. It's called being a Virgo. A tad OCD. And perhaps neurotic. With a bit of new beginnings. So New Years is one of my fave holidays for the sole reason that it lifts your hope for something new and great. It makes us think of change, why we want it and how we'll get it.
When you think about what you want this year keep me in mind... for a few reasons.
- Think about health content and inspiration to stay active, healthy, fresh and in touch with yourself. I hope I'll have content here to keep you inspired and coming back.
- If you need support I'm here. It's one of my favourite things and I love to help (Virgo loves to solve a problem)...
- Just imagine that you are ready for a new beginning. Turn a stone with each week each day, each hour. Leave the past behind. Eat for energy and give off the energy you need.
We all have a limited time on this planet. Don't we? I have a huge fear of wasting any of it. What ever you're doing make it be part of bettering yourself. Even if you're just doing nothing. Honestly... do it the right way ... as in reflect. Read. Learn. Think. (Let yourself think and feel people- a big part of my 2016 learnings!) You are making a better you and that'll never be wasted time.
Wishing you the best this 2017.
Let's stick together.
