I’m Sam Cutler and this is my story

After suffering a severe concussion and brain trauma from a fitness accident 4 years ago, I turned to meditation to heal my battle with mental health issues like depression and anxiety. I have seen first hand that through nutrition, movement and mindfulness we can care and heal our mental health.

We may not all have mental illness, but we all have mental health. When the pandemic hit over a year ago, it re-enforced the importance of taking care of our minds and finding stillness. In all the uncertainty we face together, we meditate together and heal.

I am so thankful everyday that I am able to live my passion and connect with each of you through our similarities, differences, pain and laughter. Your stories are what inspire me to keep showing up.

Follow my daily journey through social media stories, videos, episodes and laughter, and don’t forget to reach out and say hi!

My mission is to guide you towards feeling good, fulfilled and living fatale.

My goal is to encourage each of you to find balance daily through a healthy lifestyle and stillness. I started The Fit Fatale because I knew women like us needed a safe supportive community as we work towards our dreams in work, health, relationships and self-care.

Fatale means following your knowing, your ‘why’ and your biggest dreams while unapologetically doing what’s good for you, your community and the planet.

If we haven’t met yet, shoot me a direct message on my instagram. I love to chat with members of this community!

On my day to day I spend my life with my partner Trev and our Chihuahua Moka at our home in Toronto, Canada.

Most of the photos you see of me here are taken by T. He's not only the number one supporter of my online community I've been building for 7 years, he's also my photographer and my co-founder in our tech platform, Cloutdesk.

Cloutdesk is the first end-to-end tool to help creators launch, manage and grow their online business. If you are interested in learning more about how I've built my online creator business, best practices or join a community of like minded individuals

A few fun facts about me

Business

I started my first revenue generating business when I was about 10, walking dogs and breeding fish (honestly don’t ask!). I went on to create a jewelry importing business at 18 and then a vegan muffin company at 20 to fund a trip to Europe. After school I ventured into the corporate fashion world, but I left at just 25 to be a full time creator. Five years later I have two companies, The Fit Fatale & Clout Jam.

Pets

I have a tiny 4lb chihuahua named Moka who has been my sidekick for the past 6 years. I’ve always been in love with animals and before her I had pets like a cat, turtles, fish, hamster, & a chameleon.

Fashion

I went to The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where I graduated Sum Cum Laude. I started my career in the fashion industry, working in buying, marketing and customer experience for brands like Ogilvy, Holt Renfrew and Micheal Kors.

Love

I first met T when I was a bright-eyed college kid living in NYC. We dated a few times, but we were both focused on our careers. If you know us now, that comes as no surprise. Years later we reconnected over work and travel, and I immediately knew he was my person.

Charitable Causes

Mental Health

We don’t all have mental illness, but we all have mental health, and at some point we have all faced moments of depression, anxiety, uncertainty, fear and trauma. It is our passion to not only bring the resources our community needs, but in doing so also ripple that impact within our communities.

Women’s Health

Women everywhere should have access to the female health information and resources they require, yet many are still left without. We are passionate about empowering women to get to know their bodies, trust their instinct and learn more about their health.

Gut Health

Gut health is important to us because of how closely linked our gut is to our minds and mental health. 90% of our serotonin is made in our gut, which means the foods we eat, how we care for our gut and how we navigate gut health is directly linked to our mental well being.
