The 80/20 Challenge Recap

Hello loves, I wanted to share a little more about what 80/20 means to me and how this has personally changed my experience with food. Eating 80/20 REALLY means fuelling up on foods that make me feel good and that allow me to do the things that I love. There are so many benefits to eating this way but these are a few I notice daily,

  • I have more energy throughout the day

  • It makes me feel vibrant

  • My skin is glowing

  • Helps me sleep better

    Then there is the factor that when we think about what we eat, it’s literally who we become. Everything that we consume becomes our cells, our body and helps internally from the inside and out. When looking at ingredients on products this is when a lightbulb went off for me.

    Something can be “healthy”, “dairy-free” or “gluten-free” but what are the ingredients that are making up the products that we’re eating. We can’t always eat food in its natural form and also it can get kind of boring. We want the sauces and the fun stuff, the balance of that for me has been in eating in an 80/20 way with the 20 percent allowing myself to eat whatever I want. These are things we have to start paying attention to, what came from the ground vs what’s been modified and how does that make us feel. This is what I want everyone to start paying attention to.



We have completed 21 days of our 80/20 eating challenge and I am so proud of you fam!


I can’t believe all the ways you’ve told me 80/20 eating makes you feel better. IT’S HUGE!

For now, I wanted to share how it makes me feel:

The words I would use are vibrant & aware. Awareness about what I am putting in my body, but also more mental clarity to be present and aligned in my day-to-day interactions with others. I also feel more energized because less is wasted being sent to heal my gut or inflammation. Who feels me on that one?
